Jordan Kanygin is a multimedia broadcaster with more than a decade of experience in writing, live reporting, news and sports anchoring, and shooting, editing and producing.
He’s held positions in both television and radio, including award-winning coverage of the southern Alberta floods in 2013, national coverage of the heartbreaking AMBER Alert in Alberta in 2016 and is part of CTV News Calgary’s RTDNA award-winning team.
With a knack for storytelling and taking long, complex issues and making them into engaging stories people stop to watch and read, Jordan focuses on municipal and provincial politics and human interest pieces.
He’s currently a senior multimedia journalist for CTV News in Calgary, AB.
