Jordan Kanygin is a multimedia broadcaster with experience in news and sports anchoring, extensive live reporting, writing and producing. He’s held positions in both television and radio, including award-winning coverage of the southern Alberta floods in 2013, national coverage of the heartbreaking AMBER Alert in Alberta in 2016 and coverage of professional and amateur sports teams. He’s currently a news reporter for CTV News in Calgary, AB.
Born and raised in Calgary, Jordan graduated from the broadcast news program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Jordan grew up immersed in sports playing hockey, lacrosse, soccer and football and is constantly engaged in the latest current events and stories.
